Congratulations to British Section student, Ralph Cathcart, the British Council's Young Pianist of the Year (Paris)!
Congratulations to British Section student, Ralph Cathcart, who won the first British Council Young Pianist of the Year (Paris) competition. Ralph was selected from a competitive field to attend a Master Class with internationally acclaimed pianist Min-Jung Kym held at the British embassy in Paris on 7th September 2020 along with three other finalists. Min-Jung Kym then awarded the prize of British Council Young Pianist of the Year (Paris) presented here by the British ambassador, Edward Llewellyn (Lord Llewellyn of Steep).
